Robbin’ stagecoaches and banks, no law could quell

 

With Indian friend Bill and lover Myriah, Chance Evans reveled

Split even illegal spoils; the trio, with each other, always leveled

 

Chance spied his friends-couple compromised beside the river

Myriah saw Chance; Comanche couldn’t reach a bow/arrow-quiver

 

They left an Indian near the water searching for ancestors to meet

Chance Evans forgave Myriah calling her his true love most sweet

Angel mother and sister reputation unfairly-defiled

Deputy Hingle had the “killer”-boy dead in his sights

Comanche Bill’s straight-arrow put out the law’s lights

 

Together the “gang” raised grey-tendrils on dusty Main Street

Riding off to the secret cave where sweet Myriah they’d meet

To yonder Rainbows! Butterflies! & Unicorns!

 

And---in an Awesome crystal-mist snow-swirled ole

sleeping Santa Claus imagines dreams of journey

’round this old blue-white globe beneath a darkened

canopy diamond-jewel sparkle-studded as captain of

his bright red sleigh toy-loaded to overflowing Love

powered by eight tiny reindeer led by the Master-pilot

Rudolph so very Proud of a bright glowing red nose

to navigate celestial-heavens on a special sacred-holy

eve sung Silent Night! ushering virtue Salvation-Hope

in Bethlehem-town rustic stable rough-hewn manger-

crib cradling the Innocent Savior Christ-Jesus king

joined and adored by mother-Mary! Joseph! Good

Shepherd-boy! Heaven direction-star! Holy-Angel!

with snow-white fluff descending pure-soft to light

earth-shadows daguerreotype toward black and white

in easy demarcation-stripe resulting choice Truth!

 

And, then---Good ole respite-man, our Santa Claus,

to sojourn through a frigid night visiting every hamlet
