---Through
yonder moon-light…
(a
lamented-romance song)
I’ll dance thee
in full moon light
Soft-kiss thee
through yon chill night
Across yon
yellow-heather prairie-swale
Until blue-white
sparkle-stars dawn-pale
Lament
remembered-arms tender-loving embrace
Deserted
family for faux-wanderlust on gypsy-trace
Viewed
yonder awesome soaring-eagle on high above him
Silver-glisten
and gold-luster nuggets, I have chased ’em
Once
King-“I” had it all, a Perfect-family and one fine-home
Failed
to appreciate-reciprocate, instead sought a sunset-dome
Empty-days!
Cold-nights! Alone! Chill-winds to-dream
No
value sacred-virtue found; just blank-walls, it-seems
Should
(cured) I-dare errant-return one day to
claim a legacy-lost?
Would-thee
remember-me with open-arms; forgive any steep-cost?
But,
I cannot, for evil-Pride hath surely
damned a sinner’s-soul
A
“Failure” still! No golden-crown! A
chance to shovel-coal?
May
hot-lightning strike me-bold, if only it would
Knock
into this empty-head some sense, it should
Turn
me errant-compass true-home, alas, it could
Swallow-hard,
me foolish-Pride! Saddle my-horse
Fly
across the “Divide” to prairie-strike, of course
But,
“Good”-neighbor Billy has moved right-in
I
pray thee married him to avoid any evil-sin
He’ll dance thee
in full moon light
Soft-kiss thee
through yon chill night
Across yon
yellow-heather prairie-swale
Until blue-white
sparkle-stars dawn-pale
While
lonesome-I:
Lament
remembered-arms tender-loving embrace
Deserted
family for faux-wanderlust on
gypsy-trace
