We lost our Amber Morgan-horse, yesterday! 27 years old!

 

Average life-span is 25-30 years. “Good” equines! Ahh!

 

We had a horse-herd for a full 16 years before we had

any-problems; then, we-lost 3 in one short-year! C’est le vie!

 

Ole Amber-girl had a pretty-good life. She and her “protégé”

Sassy, spent the entire 27 years together. Wow!

 

 

At 7a.m. ole Sassy kicked her stall-gate to wake-me;

time to be let-out; grass to-eat, and, horse-feed. In the

evening, I’d whistle for the-critters; they’d come-racing, go

into their respective-stalls where grain and hay awaited.

 

Ole Sas is still-kickin! - - - For a long-time … I-hope!

 

I love horses - - - the “Noble”-beast ….Indeed!
