Midnight-white soft-tumbles gentle-down

On yonder-stable in Bethlehem olde-town

 

Desert-Sirocco disperses winter storm-clouds away

Birth-Innocent! Begins Redemption-Salvation play

 

Shines-bright yon beckoning Oh! holy Silver-star

Love! call-offering to-all nations’-worship from afar

 

Wee hours-of-morn heaven’s eternal-comfort shines-bright

Mary, Joseph, shepherd-boy honor sacred-Jesus’ nativity-site

 

Cherubim & Seraphim celebrate sing-joyous whisper-wind

Legion angels-saints adoring-worship on humble knee-bend

 

Millennia patient-waited promised-coming of our Savior-king

His-Way! His-Light! His-Truth! Eternal Salvation golden-ring

 

Millennia since sacred-blessed adore Jesus’-man Love!-sweet

Introducing errant spirit-soul to His-Redemption Salvation-meet

 

On long-awaited celebration decorated Christmas-tree day

Pretty-paper! Colored-ribbon! Gifts-of-tender-Love! I-pray!

 

His exemplar-Love! ’Tis better freely-give than to receive

Love!-expands as more-customs thee practice to-conceive

 

On a bitter-blizzard morn I met a hungry-vagrant Colorado-way

He searched discarded-food to begin his fractured broken-day

His frayed old shredded-blanket tattered, torn and thin-decayed

Santa offered cash and brand-new warm jacket-coat displayed

Good-thoughts! Kind-words! Comfort-deed! Jesus’ man-played

In Santa’s bag-of-Joy! Christian-generosity! A-purpose prayed

Hope-I fed and warmed his needing-body my tender-heart trade

Pray-I that he’ll Love!-perpetuate as down-to-sleep I humble-laid

 

Child-fantasy reindeer-drawn red-sleigh brings Santa’s bag-of-toys

I’ll emulate his giving-ways with kindness praying mankind-Joys!

 

I simple-pray Thee: Happy! Health! Christmas-eternal Joy! Love! Peace!

Christian-give Love! each-day to emulate Jesus’-way forever to-increase
