"Everybody" wants to be a "Hero"!---Hmm!...Really!

 

Driving along, minding one's own-business---and...

a house on-fire, flames shooting through the roof.

 

A woman on the front lawn flailing her arms, crying.

 

Wow!---Opportunity...knocks!?

 

Might be a baby stranded in the house!? A-pet!? Husband!??

 

But---if I stop and help? Hmm?...Notoriety!? Interviews!? Queries!?

 

Questions at home?---Why? Neighborhood? Do you know her?...

Just better all-around (for-me) to keep driving..."What-the-hell!?"

 

Another-opportunity---squandered...Bye!-Bye! Hero!?

Maybe---"next"-time?...Tomorrow...Maybe!? Hmm!

 

Conclusion: A true Hero does "right" for its own-sake! Not for self!

"Celebrity" is as nebulous as is faux-"security"---just...another-"lie"!

 

Creative-fantasy might lead to "positive"-determinations;

Made-up fantasy approaches insanity when it only benefits "self".

 

So? Where might one find truth in a "real"-hero? Hmm!

 

A husband and father who goes to work daily to provide for a family!

A woman who does the washing, cooking, house-keeping, mothering!

Children who do the "right"-thing---every-time...regardless of peer-pressure!

All the "Saints" & "Angels" among us quietly living a Quality-existence!

 

Heroes are myriad (everywhere)! Good! Far outweighs any-evil!

 

Revelation reveals that "in-the-end", the Good-guys Win! Amen!

 

I conclude that a-Hero (Good-guy)---wins...each and every-day!

 

Go-ahead!---Dare! Be a Hero!...Do something nice just for the-"Good"!

Even if nobody proclaims you "Hero!"---you-know...and, so-does-He!
