I love the “old-sayings”, too. Grandma was a “Class-act”! Uh! Huh!
Grandma’s wise-old adage---a rebel, rascal, rogue’s “ad lib”)
A stitch in time saves nine!---(and---chafing…on exposed bare-skin)!
A penny saved is a penny earned!---(Hmm!? Who’s ever got a “penny”!?)
If it rains “bubbles” it rains 3-days!---(I know “Bubbles”! Let it rain!)
A fool and his money are soon parted!---(Yeah! By a well-built Blonde!)
