Groundhog Day!?
February 2---Groundhog Day...Is Nature listening?
Sunrise and the rodent is pulled from his hibernation.
If the sun shines and Phil sees his shadow---he gets
scared and...burrows back in his den for six weeks
predicting 6 more weeks of winter. Should Phil see
no shadow, he predicits "Spring" is in the near offing.
Whatever "conclusion" Phil obligates to dear ole
Mother nature, I'll accept the future with pleasure.
I think we have experienced a "mild" winter (Oh!
Just listen to the groans!). Often I hear the public say,
"Oh! What a gorgeous day!" I reply---"every day!"
Gee! You mean that I am not in charge!?
So, sorry! Bunky! I am not; neither are you!
Prayer: Thank You Lord! For each day's gift.
Give me a humble spirit to enjoy it! Amen!
