An exercise in futility? A riddle---or...two!

Mental-exacerbation!?

How much wood would a woodchuck chuck
if a woodchuck could chuck wood?

Or---

Thirty white horses on a red hill;
now they go, now they go,
now they stand still.

What are they?

Answer: Teeth!

Or...

Farmer Brown has one hundred and forty-seven chickens,
six head of horses, a herd of forty-four cattle, three ducks,
a dog, a cat, five kids and a wife who drives a tractor.

How many shingles does he have on his barn roof?

These vacant enigmas have haunted me for many years.
If anyone can solve the first and last one, let me know.

(It's been one of "those" days! Sorry!)

Pray for me! I desperately need ---Help!

Amen!
