“All-in!”
For “Tradition”-love be humble I “All-in”!
Kissed sweet the
Bitter Root up ole Montana-way
Danced
cloud-torn raindrops out Pike’s Peak play
Savor comfort of
“the day” far off past
Yet, in me heart
true-Love necessary-last
And, I appeared and
live and someday absent this world
Loved sun and
moon and ocean tide and blizzard swirled
What then? Of
man when time elapsed and space run out?
Exuberant of
treasure-pleasure adventure spirit freely shout
Perhaps
perceived a childlike fool or never given thought
Myriad lessons
learned attention paid; maybe a few I taught
No matter, now,
or even, then, what others think of me
“Happy!” In life-event offer wide smile-pleasure
for thee
Within me mind
and tender heart hold secret trove-treasure
Not silver-gold
to count; just simple “Love!” true-measure
Oft kiss me
sweet of body, mind and freely spirit-soul
Reciprocate
tenfold shall I from “Love’s” sugar bowl
For “Love” I give and receive returned
eternal-way
Invested nearly
seven decades and still dare I to play
Shake pretty
head in pity for such old fool who never did grow up
I’ll greet new
dawn, enjoy yon thunderstorm, be on-time for sup
Should a ’morrow
bless another chance adventure spirit-wild
Traverse I from
here to somewhere bearing me innocent smile
“Welcome!” To ride on me train and join with I in
“Candy”-snack
But---“Beware!” If choose ‘Remain’, keep off
me fun life-track
Lose all thrills
for fear and worry might commit one greatest sin
Takes arrogant
courage to stare pure bluff with call-cool---“All-in!”
Amen!
