dangerous and nefarious "newest"-fad among losers.

Christian-generosity is NOT new---only...Persistent-"Truth!"!

It's been around since that ole Adam & Eve historic-account.

Even then, with only "4" humans---25% were...Liars & Murderers!

Seems we're doing much better, statistically, today, with Billions!

These un-"new" philosophies cropping up are charlatans! Un-needed!

It's simple!---Boys & Girls!...Back to Basics! Like: Truth! Amen!

Satiated-spirit celestial-heart celebrated religious-Measure!
Innocence beside Mary and Joseph Holy Family-Treasure!
For all Whisper-wind nostalgia-days a Christian-Pleasure!
 
“None so blind as those who will not see!” An adage True!
Choice! Free-will! Value-gifts toward Virtue-practice new!
 
Father! Son! & Holy Ghost! A 3-in-1 celestial God-place!
Faith-! Family-! Freedom-! -Trinity! Spirit-worthy Grace!

Steeples n the distance!

 “Steeples”-in-the-distance…

 

My "little"-world consisted of our home-town boasting

a population of 2,500-citizens, 6-miles away sat my

great-grandparents' farm where I spent the 2nd-greatest

amount of time next to "home" and, of special-interest,

my beloved-Fox Lake consisting of three ponds. Special!

 

For a "kid" with an un-limited imagination, these several-

venues provided myriad adventure-opportunities. Wonderful!

 

Each "scene" brought eternal-wonder, curiosity and discovery.

The events-of-each-day proved important in my development. 

I learned to hunt and fish at the farm and Fox Lake. Ah! Yeah!

 

My present-day mantra which rules my life and Love developed

during those necessary formative-years. Faith! Family! Freedom!

 

So many adventures---exploring....learning. A---making...of...Me!

 

One of the special memories (all of them "special") is the "steeple".

 

From the south-end of the barn-loft at the "farm", a place where I

played "cowboy", caught pigeons for my "pen" at home, in-town,

I could open the wooden-window to view the steeple 3-miles away.

 

I delighted in "spying" from that window which overlooked 3-ponds,

the cattle-pasture dotted with cows, the horse-lot, hog-pen, fields.

Billy & Tommy were the farm's work horses. Ride-'em-cowboy!

Off in the far-horizon distance stood the Catholic church-steeple in the next

nearby town where eventually I would attend the parochial high-school.

 

Playing summer baseball in a league gave me a "slight"-expansion to

my tidy-little universe as we traveled, a-bit, to challenge neighboring-

town teams; many of the players were known to me by way of those games. 

From my barn-door perch at the farm, I could manage to "image" in my

creative-mind the ball-diamonds in relation to the steeple. Great-fun!

 

Everything---exciting---adventurous---educational...Innocently-delightful! 

And---best-of-all?...the farm back-porch gathering with...Family!

Ah!---Precious-Memories!...Valued more than any "silver" or "gold"!

A personal-note: Thank-you! Mom & Dad!---for letting me be a...child!

Everyone a “kid” again on this hallowed reverent venue-event
Peace-on-earth! Good-will-to-men! God’s holy-sacred Perfect-plan

A Merry Christmas “presence”!

 

I present to thee, my fellow Christian-practitioners, a “Heaven”-like venue:

 

Stand with me just northeast of the “Trinity” masonry-weave of

New Hanover Zoar Church. Witness there, three courses of cut-stone,

2-of-white limestone, 1-of-medium brown sandstone, fashioned into a

“Trinity”-of-labor-Love to construct a worship-venue holy-sacred “church”

adorned and finished with a proper steeple-summit bell-tower to Welcome all!

 

Gaze, then, west across the reflective pond to view the cemetery Saintly-place.

 

On yonder sunny morn or cloudy eve---Christian-site!...Heaven-venue! Proud!

 

Once, decades prior, I had worshipped here as my progeny attended

Sunday school where my Angel-wife taught Holy Bible lessons!

This serene place where first I heard those sacred-precious words of,

now, my very favorite church hymn: Amazing Grace! Amen!

 

For, in Truth, I have wandered-ventured far-and-wide in search of

Passion-fashion holy-sacred Peace---and, have returned here…to claim it!

 

On holy Christmas, allow that I confess, on my foray to locate a Worthy-

venue for worship, I have, indeed, rediscovered a Family. Delightful so!

 

Saints & Angels among us! Indeed! Oft’ I’ve written about them.

They are everywhere! All the time! Simply---look…and see! Amen!

 

And, too---I have worshiped God!...Upon yon summit-white, prairie, ocean wide.

 

Jesus lives!---In me and thee…and in His holy-sacred Heaven-venues True!

Is Jesus born in a simple-rough stable a sin?
 
Perhaps His-admonition is a lesson on evil-Pride!
“I” was there midnight “Christmas I” by His-side!
 
So were you! Didn’t know it was a consideration!
Just---in God’s-plan…of suspended-animation!
 
The miracle “God- man” two millennia before “our” time!
Yet, we were present in that Holy-night starlight-shine!
 
Yon Deity-gleam sand-grain Sirocco-blown by a Whisper-wind!
Or a snowflake or ice crystal or even just a wisp-of-wind send!
 
Perhaps warming-breath of a critter to Honor newborn-King!?
Or the sweet harmony-melody celestial-heaven angels did sing?
 
Might have been an “Atom” in composition of a rustic-manger?
Or gave 3-kings directions while faux-disguised as a stranger?
 
Soft-comfort hay in His-bed where He lay? I Could!
Alabaster-pale full moon golden-light? You Should!
Star-bright guiding-venue show-display? We Would!
 
Gorgeous-Beauty Mary mother-glow our radiant-Love!
Cherubim & Seraphim adoring-song filter-softy above!
 
Good-enough that simple-humble I privileged-attend!
Better that all God’s-Glory-Love for each of us descend!
Best appreciation for Faith! Family! Freedom! commend!
 
And, so?---Indeed! Yes!...I was there with thee and thee!!
Not yet complete in His-creation view yet there to see!
 
In any Awesome-wonder Great ’tis myriad little-things necessary-acute!
In-God each is important so as to the Honor-Glory triumph easy impute!

Yonder! On the horizon-line! An interloper design!

What? Red-sleigh Santa Claus! Eight deer flight-line!

“Come join the fun!” Frosty invites. “It’ll be just fine!”

“Ho! Ho! Ho! Looking for hot dogs on which to dine!”
