 Wonder!?-to-Wander!?  Amen!

 

I wonder?---Which necessarily results…I wander!!

See glorious lightning flash echoing rumble-thunder

Gale force winds raise 40-foot waves to crash asunder

From escarpment I wonder where from comes “yonder”

 

Plant such tiny seed blessed with water life-giving rain

Mother Nature loving comfort-warm golden-sun gain

Upon me face cooling sacred Whisper-wind holy refrain

Lonesome whistle distant-call of mighty freight train

 

Spring emerald green to coax sprout expectant ambition

Reach for yon sun growing toward concluded condition

“Music” harmony between the notes blended rendition

“Life-call” of a holy-sacred spirit requires no-permission

 

Where of the torrent by storm might then a river flow?

To vacant follow a single raindrop seeing it yonder go

Into a canyon blue ocean-filled to white sand beach Oh!

Hurry to reach---What?...Gee! I no longer seem to know!

 

A holy trinity I found: Father! Son! & Holy Ghost!

Sacred mantra Faith! Family! Freedom! I humble-boast

Seen awesome sights from prairie-mountain-Pacific coast

Adventure-found to cherish close Life I love the very most

 

On yon ’morrow pink-blush hint-of-dawn I hopeful awaken

Another chance to better yesterday be not empty-forsaken

Better to give ever-more than any that I have selfish-taken

To question Wonder why I Wander leaves singular unshaken

 

Spent seven-decades in Hedonist-merriment ambitious Fun-play

Didn’t listen nor much care for anything some others did dare say

Alabaster-pale full moon light reason good-enough to howl-bay

Come hither “What”-ever might again I’ll do it all my own way

 

Find me! If ye dare! In loft or forest or astride yon worthy horse

Soft-curry Whisper-wind to rhythm-echo far canyon! Of course!

Rebel! Rascal! Rogue! Rapscallion! Gypsy-sirocco gale-force

From Where-inception onto Now-here maybe tomorrow-source?

 

For truly I am and may even ’morrow be and certain history been

Invested inherited gift-of-time in Life! and Love! and tender-kin

If celestial-reward Happy!-value Peace!-virtue be some evil sin

I misread yon Treasure-map of Glory-Measure Pleasure! Amen!
