"Inspire me..." Amen!

 Inspire me with a sacred olde-tyme hymn!

 

Our new neighbor asked Lady Candice if we were Southern Baptists.

 

I took his inquiry as a compliment; my dear Granny was a sacred one!

 

We like to have the windows open, eschew air conditioning (mostly)

and the Gentleman heard our Alan Jackson CD inspiring us. Amen!

 

In my religious music-choice preference, I love the olde-tyme hymns!

Plain (simple-humble) me! Traditional! Conservative! Amen!

 

Indeed!---Give me that old time religion…it’s good enough for me!

 

Granny was a very “special” lady; I still love her more than life!

She could quote the “Good book” with the best of them. Her kitchen

was open 24/7 and on Sunday morning with her radio on, she “preached”!

Interspersed with her “testimony”-teaching was sacred old-time hymns!

 

So, I listen to gospel and Irish and folk and religious and Elvis! Amen!

Being a hopeless Romantic I am easily: Inspired! I adore Life! Amen!

 

2 things I do everyday: 1) Learn something new; 2) Make someone smile!

It makes me feel-good! Soothes the heart! Satiates the spirit! Amen!

 

I’m pleased my neighbor noticed; few moderns see anything. Too busy

“getting” and “impressing” and “keeping-up”! Did you see the full moon?

 

Life is a Great adventure! Don’t miss any of it in idle “wishes & wants”!

Worry & Fear” are the evil twin step-sisters! Eschew them! Appreciate!

 

Live the sacred Trinities! Abundant in life! To wit:

 

Live! Love! Laugh! Focus contemplate!

Vigilant be! No one’s future is ever late!

 

Faith! Family! Freedom! Might just be all there really---Is!

In one eternal instant the only mercy-blessing will be…His!
