Marian!
Tender-memories!
(December
28, 1927-December 15, 2021)
A
loving-tribute
And---we
are better…for the blessing of loving Marian! Amen!
Marian
always smiled, was kind and pleasant; a sacred-blessing.
She
could ice skate on one leg, crank the ice cream maker,
catch
crawfish, bottle ketchup, celebrate and party! Wow!
We
went swimming, on picnics, shopping and always had “fun”.
I
never once heard an unkind word from
this fine-lady! Thank you!
A
devoted wife---soul mates…”Bill &
Marian”!
She
loved and was ever-Proud of her sons,
Larry & Don.
Her
eyes sparkled when she spoke of Madeline, Christina and “Sir” William.
Candy
says Marian never aged, always youthful in appearance and demeanor.
We
sure enough laughed a great deal when we visited; such fun-events.
She
was a lot like her mother, Aleda and she worshipped her Dad, “Poppy”.
Marian
was most Proud of her beloved brother
Carl Sr. and loved us all.
She
enjoyed a plethora of friends; continually celebrating delicious-life.
I
am blessed to have known the-“Lady”! Proud to be her-friend!
Rest-in-Peace! Miss-Marian! Thank you! God-bless you! Amen!
Live! Love!
Laugh!
Focus contemplate!
Vigilant-be!
No-one’s future is ever-late!
Faith! Family!
Freedom!
Might just be all there really---Is!
In
one eternal-instant the only mercy-blessing will be…His!
Amen!
Focus-Love!---Blossom-Life!...Celebrate a Peace!-bouquet!
Amen!
Class-act!---Miss-Marian!...1st-class! All the-way!
Offered
to Marian’s family & friends with Love-affection!
Respectfully,
Lovely
Lady Candice Leah & (simple-humble “me”)
And---
Faith!
Family! Freedom!-trinity!
Faith!
Family! Freedom!
A “worthy”-life everything!
A
Love!-comfort trinity warm-satiating
whisper-wind!
Amen!
Cold-fog
comfort!
Christmas!-everyday!?---in
memory?…easy!---in real-time?...easier! (by-choice)
Early-winter
frost embraces-fully high upper-branches of the bare,
old
elm–tree in the side yard between the rock-house where Grandma
and
Grandpa lived when I was just a kid and
the Maeystown Creek which
still
flows a frothy-churn caressing her rock-bottom interspersed with myriad tumbles
of
miniature crystal-waterfalls as she relentlessly meanders westward to the
Mississippi.
Obfuscating
frozen-fog hugging-close the high, bare tree-limbs is captured in a
5”
X 7” pen-and-ink drawing by Wip Wippermann, a former village-resident.
The
stark black & white daguerreotype-image captures the subtle home-ambiance
of
a by-gone era; it hangs in our house with honor
and respect deserving of Family!
Creativity-tribute
to the artist preserves true-emotion: Faith! Family! Freedom!
Comfort-warm
devotion on yonder whisper-wind imagery by Wip Wippermann
In
my “often”-visits to the village-town, a plethora-of-memories offers a
satiated-spirit
symphony of melodious Love!-tones
sung by a pure-soul.
A
cold northern-chill errant-wind challenges my heavy winter hooded-parka
as
I huddle-tight against the onslaught hovering across the narrow-lane in
search
of some-reminder, a shadow on the old-house frosted-window, perhaps,
Dear
Grandma-Rose, a Saint in life and now
in-heaven, or Grandpa-Edwin at
the
kitchen-table on a Sunday anticipating the weekly-arrival of sweet-Family!
And---within
the expectation of my-fantasy…the chill feels suddenly…cozy!
A-“They
don’t live here, anymore!”-reality hinders-not my-Love! found in a
Fantasy-of-emotion
within this gentle-heart embracing always sacred-Family!
Know
this & most---“I love you!”…then…still,
and…always! Amen!
Thank-you!-kin! One-and-all! For Maeystown-memories
and my holy-mantra trinity:
Faith!
Family! Freedom!
and Father!
Son! & Holy Spirit!
Amen!
Merry Christmas! (2019) Love, Candy & Carl
