Before-noon the air cooled precipitously! Black-clouds darkened

the western-sky! Then, the color changed to-"green"! Hail!

 

A 3-minure fuselage of stones was followed by a quiet-spell of

several-seconds; the sky turned "orange" and all-Hell broke loose!

 

Howling 60 mile per-hour wind; a-deluge for 20-minutes! Gone!

One-spectacular show! Delightful! I was out in the meanness! Wow!

 

"Nobody"-else was on the streets watching! Just-me! Crazy!?

But---I caught the entire spectacle!...Amazing! Like-Life!

 

Wouldn't have missed it for the-world! Bring-it! I'll be-there!

 

Gotta-Go! The deluge is here! Oh! Boy! Fun & Games! I-hope!

 

Thank-you! Mother Nature! I always have loved-you! Amen!

More-shortages!?---You-betcha!...Hmm!

 

The "next" faux-shortage!?

Turned out "pretty"-nice! Sure-enough is enjoyable! I reckon-so!

We sit in the yard-swing and drink-in the-beauty of our garden!

What-ever the-"rules"---I'll be just-fine...might plant-a-tree! Hmm!

claim the additional $500/child relief-benefit has until Wednesday

(that's tomorrow) to get the application-information to them!?

 

What?-the-hell!?---"You" are-not who you think you-are!...Damn!

All-gov'ment "employees" are just "Hired-help"! Remember-that fact!

 

IRS has "our" info (we don't have any additional claim for kids) and

we don't have our stimulus-check---Yet!...I-bet the "Big"-wigs got theirs!

 

Since the "Hired-help" usurped "power" the-IRS does not have by

mandating deadlines, let's take a good-long look at the "Relief"-package

of $2-trillion just passed by our "Hired-help". How about an-accounting

for every-dollar of the $2-trillion of "We, the-peoples..." money! Hmm!?

 

The gov'ment (including IRS) ain't got No-money 'cept that of "We, the-people's..."

money which "they" have confiscated from our hard-earned incomes! Hmm!?

 

I had considered "returning" my "relief"-check---Pride!?...Not any-longer!

Lots of-rhetoric!? Tongues-wagging! Mouths-yapping! Woe-is-me!?

Poor-ole Mother-Earth! "Mankind" has raped & pillaged her-treasure!

Oh! No! Global-warming! Oceans-rising!? Temperature-rising!? Despair!?

Run & hide! Fear! There---is...No-Hope! Filthy-"man" has destroyed-us!?

 

So!?---What did we-do today?...To celebrate- Life & Love of Mother-Earth!

Lovely-Lady Candice Leah & (simple-humble)-I Honored Mother-Nature this-day!
 

We planted 100+-trees! Hard-maple specimens! Got some more to-do! Wow!

About half of our-treasure are tinged with a deep-crimson on the leaves! Nice!

I grew them from seeds gathered last-summer; they are yearlings! Doing-well!

 

No! We don't have a huge-yard; daughter-Becky has a 40-acre plot! Great!

They will have a long (1/2-mile) driveway constructed this-summer in preparation

for their new-home; we thought the drive might look nice lined with maple-trees.

It's an-offering!---They can decide what to-do with-them!...They are-beautiful!

 

I'll grow some oaks this fall; a squirrel ate last-year's crop! They gotta-eat, too!

No! I didn't kill the troublesome-varmint. Live! & let-Live! Christian-generosity!

 

Over the decades we've planted around 12,500-trees! Happy Earth-Day! Amen!

 

In the time it takes to moan-and-complain---Celebrate!...Plant-a-tree! Or---100!

My “farm”-land has shrunken by some substantial-amount;

once I rode-herd over near-400 acres, now, about a ½- acre!

Things-change!---People, too! They-say!...Me? Not-so-much!

The farm-estate took a “young”-man with tremendous-ambition,

a-fair amount-of-income and a laisser-faire “Cool” life-attitude!

 

Truth-be-told! My rancher-days were one fantastic-hobby! Yeah!

 

24/7-work!---A labor-of-Love!...A smile-of-space has filled-all-time!

 

If “success” be a-measure?---Life! My-way!...be the cached sacred-treasure!

 

Having just-finished mowing the grass, I enjoyed a-respite at the patio-table

in the filigree-shade of the ancient silver-maple tree sipping a cool-drink; my

“new” best-friend, “Purrfect!” Miss-Penelope, our family-kitten saved from

a rescue-center last Fall, sat quiet at my-feet, appreciating the lawn-haircut!

 

Ah! The life-of-a-cat!---A lovable professional-bum!...Jeez! Just-like-Me!?

 

Partly-cloudy this fine early-spring day! Beautiful! Warm! Enjoyable! I-have

always led a Blessed-life! Not-so-deserving!? But, no-complaints! “Thank-Thee!”

 

Daydreaming, I focused on the sky; cerulean with puffy white-billows! Nice!

 

Free!---they-are…like-me!? A-tumbleweed traversing the awesome-cosmos!

 

Kitty-cat seems oblivious to my pathetic-musing, busy cleaning her white-mantle.

 

The drink is half-consumed; the white-fleeces have drifted southeast blending

like embracing fog-tendrils dancing across the early-morning calm Fox-Lake.

 

They sure do move-fast, vacillating “sheep’s”-wool to ocean-waves undulations.

Not-just-so-much different than me quick-time through a generous-space. No-

plan!? Not-much-ambition! Free-floating along the-day! Noticed!? By-a-few!?

 

Well! I’m cool-now! (Not nearly so-much-so as I “want” to once-remember).

Time to challenge the other half of the yard-grass! Up! And, at-’em! Ole-man!

 

“Okay! My Miss-Penelope! Rest-up! Ole kitty-cat! I have work to-do!?”

 

Fly! Me faded-dreams a flicker-glimpse across yon-universe wild-ride

Remember when the clouds were young-born in-Hope! to stem-the-tide

Innocence!?---Santa Claus!...Oh! Yeah! A-delicious way-to-live!

Yeah! I-really was---“that”-innocent…once!?

 

Love! was a heart-warming emotional-“high” with sacred-family!

Time was in eternal-supply! Life was always Good!---and…Better!

Events came around every-corner persuading additional-curiosity!

Adventure grew naturally from those sacred-events of-life and time!

Every-day was “Blessed” with “security” and family “warm-comfort”!

Religion taught “Right” from “Wrong” and sacred-Truth! was-Honor!

An evening-Novena bathed the sanctuary-of-church with Jesus’-light!

Serving daily-mass stirred a-child Holy Spirit desire for the-priesthood!

The seminary entrance-exam dampened such haughty-expectations! Hmm!

Love! Danced its stardust on a winter-night in a January-blizzard! Nirvana!

My Candy-girl at-15 accepted my Class-ring and never took it-off! Wow!

That Lovely-Lady brought Perfect-Love! and absolute High-Class! To-me!

Beth & Becky brought a-Joy! Beyond any-expectation! Thank-Thee! Lord!

Money! & Material-wealth! Never-much interested me! I “worked” to-eat!

Jackpot! We deposited more-money in 1-month than I made in-a-year! Hmm!

$12.50-income the next-month!---Nothing-changed!...Understanding!? Hmm!

Freedom! was my temptress-seduction “charm”! Money---is…irrelevant! Um! Hm!

Estates!?---We had a-few! Land! Homes! Horses! Pools! Cars!...Sold! Them-all!

Z. Tyler-man! I was only-40 when this-angel came into my life and time! Wow!

My shadow-buddy for 16-years!---Best-friends!...We still-are! Love!-you! Son!

Lauren!-girl! Just-Perfect! Beautiful! Smart! My-Luvy! Little-Professor! Skippy!

As an 8-year-old sitting in the bow of a rowboat with my-dad on

fantastic Fox Lake crappie-fishing in the afternoon-glow warmth

On a rare-occasion night when slumber-vacates elusive, I-contemplate
