Annie's "wild"-flower glen
Daughter-Becky decided, after a plethora of research into the subject,
to endeavor an undertaking to build an apiary (bee-hive community)
placing the encampment on a ridge above the creek on her newly-
acquired property yonder on Bohleysville Road near Waterloo.
Lovely-Lady Candice Leah and I "helped" Rachel clear an area for her
project. Honeysuckle "wild"-plants have encroached on the edge of the
field as the woods have overgrown the "open"-ground by some 20', on
average. We cut and piled and cleared and piled and , so far, have opened
an area about 25' X 40' in several-hours of exhausting-challenge. Fun!
So, our little-Anna Marie, in all her wisdom of a nearly-16 year-old, took
it upon herself, at her own initiative, to clear a "patch" near the intended
apiary-designation to cultivate an area for "wild"-flowers. Wow!
She raked and cleared and piled and cultivated and planted myriad flowers!
Now, "her"-bees will have "nectar" just out the back-door, so-to-speak!
"Thank-you! darling Anna!" These sacred-children (all) are a true "blessing".
Looking forward to the "bounty" of sweet-honey from the apiary-design!
Fabulous! Every-day! Hmm! Wonder what the 'morrow will offer!?
Whatever? I'll be ready---to help...and, reap the rewards. Great-family!
Amen!
