Just---Go...for "It"!
So...Yesterday, we were out "loafing"-away
the "Father's Day" pleasant afternoon anticipating
the hour for our dinner invite to daughter-Catherine's
home when we chanced entry in the quaint little village
of Maeystown antique shop to peruse the offerings.
The nice lady proprietor sat patiently interested in our
examinations of her wares while she politely chatted with
a young man; I overheard the gentleman proclaim in one
of his statements to the owner, "I'm a 'dreamer'!"
"That" particular pronouncement piqued my curiosity.
Wow! A fellow "Dreamer"! And, quite proud of it!
Unobtrusively, I sidled over his way as Candy got
the clerk's attention to pay for her purchases.
"I heard you say you are a 'Dreamer'?" I queried,
followed quickly with "what do you dream about./"
Taken aback, he paused save an easy laugh at my forwardness.
I handed the man a card with my information and offered,
"I'm a writer with books on Amazon and a blog."
Turns out, he is going to Colorado to teach "Spanish".
I congratulated him and told him of the beauty of his
destination adding that if he had a chance to get to the
Oregon coast, he would discover "Colorful Colorado"
in a some what less arid constitution being lush and verdant.
He was polite to my intrusion and of pleasant manner.
I came away liking the young man.
It's difficult to "not" befriend any---
fellow...dreamer!
Enjoy! My dear friend of kindred spirit!
I know full-well that thee shall happily do so!
Amen!
Live! Love! Laugh! Focus contemplate!
Vigilant be! Not one future be ever...late!
Faith! Family! Freedom! Might just be all there really---IS!
In one eternal instant the only mercy-blessing will be...HIS!
