Excerpt- Prologue from "...And Justice for all" (Amazon books by Carl Schuler)

Prologue

The Crime?

Seek first a tiny spark of truth to fall upon the tender nest of curiosity bound loose with inborn sprigs of righteous judgment fibers to catch, ignite and flare to flames fanned by exploration into consuming conflagration; question the beliefs, discard the faux, hold dear the truths which stand tall worthwhile to scrutiny; forsake the lie, irrelevant the source; cling only long to sacred purity.

The Prosecution

Murder be the charge! Not one elite can ever be allowed to find immunity of consequence for acts of selfish abandonment of law, neither codified by human intent nor sanctified in God. Even should the secular “the ends justify the means” must abide the rules less anarchy might rule. To prescribe irrational “rationalization” or to support un-just “justification” becomes an evil sin.

The Defense

Speaks now, ye cursed accused: “Awaiting trial this last ninety days while legality readiness labored slowly unabated, the accusations laid upon bared reputation have been thoroughly reviewed, dissected, micro-scoped and, finally, concluded. Erudite, formidable defense counsel will offer argue while attest that any action perpetrated resulted from character demanded of a personality necessary to ‘follow orders’ without concern, examination, challenge or assessment.

“And, I confess, it is often government deliberate to sanction behavior polite sophisticates might find abhorrent in their daily deportment of pleasantries; still, I, must be accountable for actions of my choosing, though the intricate intertwining of the various reasons might be debatable. In the end, judgment of one’s peers might be impossible, for whom among you is like me, or, I, like any of you in the essence of our being; ultimately, only one eternal conclusion shall matter at all. Then, pray I, justice true; yet, temper such with some liberal-measured mercy.

“Learned Madam Prosecutor appropriately raises proudly the specter of which among us has right to warrant death over life upon a whim. I bow to you, Madam Purveyor of abortion rights.

“So, in faux defense, I confess to commission of evil offense. And, now, you, the jury, at the instruction of His Honor, must impart Solomon’s wisdom, rendering---‘…and, Justice for all!’”

Faith! Family! Freedom! Might just be all of reality there…is!

In one eternal instant, the only valued judgment will be…His!

That applicable Judgment?
