Day 18 to 50 Celebration

Lake Storm

Relaxing on the clubhouse porch for respite

Any imagined problem, decide I, to forget it

Solitude under shading comfort of a huge red oak

Subtle wind change have my sharpened senses woke

Thunderheads tower tall on far horizon yonder

Lightning shards portend an awesome wonder

Rolling rumbles rattle roughly on a trained ear

Still, many myriad miles away to clearly hear

Acute aware now of impending stealthily danger

Clandestine tempest in disguise, never a stranger

Sweet smell of freshness harbored on tossed air

Purple-green robe does approaching front wear

A cooling breeze precedes the torrent threatened

White flashes streak as echoing crashes deafened

Upon the quaking black-chop surface of the lake

Wind-swept crests of wild white-caps soon wake

In safe harbor on headland beyond violent fray

Appreciate show of fearsome powerful display

Tranquil times return when turbulence passed

Such slight disruption of good day can’t last

Good against evil battles in lifetime are daily fought

Victory proclaimed, the altercation a fleeting thought

Value refuge in pure light of saintly virtue glow

Saved soul in Father, Son and Holy Spirit flow

Amen!

Day 17 to 50 Celebration

Awesome Wonder!

Why? Wonder I, deserve so blessed

Absent Grace, solution not guessed

In Jesus’ name hold solid Faith foundation

From conception His sacred accommodation

Alone in life to trial-error sort it out?

Frustration, that, “enough” strident shout

Look not within, search celestial answers above

God’s own plan, a generous Family true love

Their task to shape one straight and narrow

With vigilant Guardian, help spine the arrow

Hero, Ranger mask and red cape man

Virtue instilled, for Freedom must stand

Men of the big war, character please emulate

“Politically Correct” does modern emasculate

 Right thinking forever important be

Stand honor tall, may everyone see

For what be gained with lie so pervasive?

Might lose one’s soul, make heaven evasive

First true love, sweet human emotion

Pledge sacred troth, undying devotion

Not all abide nor play honest rule

Life lessons learned outside of the school

Discipline faction focus uncontained rage

Evil demon capture, confine to steel cage

Death tangled web meant to guilty protect

Elite forced to face black soul introspect

Imbue solitude, sense mighty thunder

Justice for all, His Awesome Wonder

Amen!

Day 16 to 50 Celebration

Midnight Garden

Blue-black midnight dark surrounds the sacred garden ground

In yonder diffused gray there, sought quiet solitude easy found

Illuminated translucent ball backlights clouds in soothing glow

Cloud-edges scribed within abyss paints heaven’s way, they show

Mortals below in sepia tones quite often stumble, sometimes fall

In quiet softness they wraithlike arise to heed holy eternal call

Stark beauty in daguerreotype, black-white obfuscated sight

Portrays the bounty in silent slumber growing in still night

Early morning rains may fall to quench the parched plants’ thirst

Or just a misted heavy dew to greet the ’morrows rays, come first

Alabaster moon orb marches o’er velvet darkness tender-sweet caress

Garden shadows slow-motion sway in rhythmic shadowed nature-dress

To satiate hunger visits long-eared speedy bunny cottontail

Temptation candy-like where succulent leafy greens do hail

The surreptitious bandit sporting a black mask to hide his face

Gold corn ears ripe for harvest devoured at a most frantic pace

Invite God’s creatures celebrate the midnight garden’s feast

For the greater man might brag he is, for sure, he is the least

Faith teaches follow Savior under star-like sparkle-white diamond

Belief reminds Redeemer there in glow where I did truly find Him

Please see the simple logic in this convoluted scheme

Live unafraid in Jesus Christ, in His Holy Bible theme

Amen!

Day 15 to 50 Celebration

Live Each Day

Live dawn’s new day as though it be your last

One dusk shall tell that any future time has past

Bring Christmas Spirit to new discovered morn

Event proclaim awaits fresh great adventure-born

Sleigh ride delight glisten diamond crystal

“Giddy-up!” Bay Stormy prancing proud

Bright New Year sun promises faux warmth

Pull afghan tight, sing “Jingle-bell” fine tune

Chocolate hot assures arrival home soon

Arise at dawn, hairy prognosticator beast

Fear not just thou own dark shadow cast

Dare six week retreat to warm winter borrow?

Care I what might be your cold prognostication?

Find warm comfort love in Valentine celebration

Subside cold wild wind, usher in mild lamb

String-kite climb through fluffy white clouds

The Ides this bluster day portend Caesar’s demise

St. Patrick’s Day harbinger Vernal Equinox spring

Late season storm remind us remember Lion King

Warm showers gather like Emerald Isle weather

Meadows greening sweeten Bessie’s milk-onion

Reticent buds explode in myriad rainbow palette

Forest-leaf floor release Morel mushroom yellow

Incessant Spring-fever strikes un-ambitious fellow

Must work harder to secure that needed promotion

Threatening damper saved by bright flower blossom

Red Ear are spawning, I know oasecret lake pool

Good intentions pure for meaning all I should do

Too beautiful a day to pass up firing the bar-b-que

Sipping lemonade cool under Maple shade dappled

Alfalfa bales waiting in the field keep beckoning

Oiled leather mitt and caught a whiff of summer

Baseball harkens, here comes Bobby and young Jim

Need one more to play, better call our trusty boy Slim

Iced down watermelon in Mom’s borrowed old wash tub

Fried chicken picnic, playing in hot afternoon fun games

A refreshing clan together swim in the creek before sunset

In “America, the Beautiful!” dusk flees yon coming night

Red-fire painted sky echoes bombs bursting in big delight

A hot time in the old town every day and night

Humidity so thick the preacher prayed for gills

Dog days of Summer not fit for man nor beast

Children immune to the whims of Nature-kin

I cry still when those darn school times begin

Soft cotton-white puffs traverse cerulean abyss

Comes Autumnal equal split of dark and light

Hunter’s blood stirs with early teal migration

Longed for Fall hint promised in cool night air

Tethered child spirit freed as adventure-dreams flair

Bare skeleton limbs claw at alabaster awe full moon

Colored fallen leaves rustle, play tag before the wind

Bounty harvest safely in the barn, pantry larder full

Night time chill at bay by firewood warmed stove

Family safely sound in farm house treasure trove

Daddy and I chase cottontails to howling chorus beagle pets

Dry logs chopped then split neat piled by the back porch door

Soon challenge keen wiles of Mr. Whitetail eight point buck

Thanksgiving reverence prays the evil world has ceased

Love shared among these guests to celebrate a turkey feast

Deliberated decisions hope for that desired most special gift

Bright gold paper wrapped, secured with pretty ribbon red

Festive color decorations adorn center-stage fresh-cut tree

Blessings more again this day and each one since the last

Each day has been Christmas, Lord, in the year just past

Amen!

Day 14 to 50 Celebration

Oh! My Love!

How I do love thee…

Oh! Much more than words can say

True love sweeter everyday

Upon a star, wish I might, I may

Spend life’s journey with thee in play

Heaven-sent on angel’s wing

Beauty cause my heart to sing

Perfect even little thing

Gave to thee my class ring

Many days events unfold

My heart to thee, He foretold

Our love precious, more than gold

Still eighteen and never grow old

Thee are heaven in my life

Always present, quell any strife

Grow happiness like flowers rife

Thank thee for being my sweet wife

Light in soft brown eyes glows

Perfection in your style, it shows

Beauty abounds, sophisticated pose

Most classy lady, everyone knows

Of all we’ve said and been and done

The true grand prize is surely won

Children completed our life’s run

Their babies, too, added so much fun

Very often do I kiss thee

Radiant beauty I do see

Saintly good is surely key

Never could I more happy be

Even through these joyful tears

With thee, I know not awful fears

Accept it all with gleeful cheers

Oh! God! Please! Another hundred years!

To the other side of eternity…Amen!

Thank God! All thee are, I adore

Happy Anniversary! The event: number double four

Happy Anniversary!

Day 13 to 50 Celebration

Candice Leah

Perfect name - Classy lady - My girl - My love

For your Special Birthday

Everyday I love you more! Falling in love with you is my life’s ambition; it is my one characteristic about which I am passionate. You are saintly in your quest to be all things to all people; angelic in your way of making our lives great. You are our strength and our hero; none of us could make it without you. When I tell you I feel that you have been cheated, it is because I always want the absolute best for you and, while I honestly do try, I know that often I fall short. You are my love and my salvation. Our children and grandchildren are tremendous people; they are what they are because of you. I do not deserve you but everyday I thank God for your love. Thank you for loving me for your patient attention of my ramblings, for taking care of me, for always standing by me. Choosing you to spend my life with was the best decision I ever made. You always allowed me to dream the impossible and encouraged me to pursue my rainbows no matter how ridiculous they seemed to be. I have never planned for someday nor had to contemplate the way things might be; together we have always lived the future - NOW! I’ll always be there, you know where, just South of the sun and a bit West of the moon! Thank you for everything. You are my beautiful Candice Leah, my Candy-girl and I love you more today than yesterday - always.

Happy Birthday!

Carl

Day 12 to 50 Celebration

The Ring

(a “cloned” Christmas gift)

Spiritual perfection! A symbol representing a continuous circle of perpetual love represented by two interlocking hearts set ablaze with stunning blue-white diamond clarity. The quintessence of God! No beginning, no end. Always present. Pure! In its very essence. Perfect! In its simple concept. God! Symbolized!

Rotate a ring on any axis and generate a perfect sphere. Contained in that globe is the nature of concentrated love---which is…God! The goodness in each of us is ever-expanding. It is the capacity to transcend all that is not good in its various manifestations which tempt man into transgression; a victory over the impure in life with the cleansing of the soul through the Grace of the Holy Spirit. To give “love’ is to bestow the gift of God. The ring is a circle illustrating the continuum which is God, Who is Love.

May the days in your “ring” all be diamonds as you treasure Christmas Perfect!

Prayer: Dear Lord, Thank You for the gift of life bestowed through Your everlasting love for me. Faith! Family! Freedom! Will be my spoken credo. Through the Authority of the Father, The Blessing of Christ Jesus and the Grace of the Holy Spirit I shall triumph in the Kingdom’s eternity. Amen!

Merry Christmas!
