Sunday! Hooray!

7th day!

...And, on the 7th day---He rested...

A week is come and been and gone since Easter.
A good week; seven great days.
Enjoyed. Lived. Loved. Appreciated.

Today, I emulate Him---and...rest.

But, come the midnight hour, Monday, I begin---again!

Thankful. With intent for purpose. With enthusiasm.

To try it all, again. Over and over.
It's all I know. Everything I want.
Only to Live! Love! Laugh!
To embrace another day; to try harder---smarter...better!

I hope! I pray! I...know!

Have a restful day! Another Great! day!

Today---I rest! Tomorrow...I triumph! Again!

Amen!

Full moon?

Alabaster  Pale Full Moon Orb

No! Not tonight! At least, not in the blue-black abyss.
Never mind. I see the hanging globe of light quite clear.
There, in my intellect-vision; it counts as much as reality.

So!? How so? Such---what?...Stupidity!?
Too actually subscribe to such---Dreaming?

Transgression confession:
I am a hopeless "Romantic-dreamer" ! Amen!

So? Live in the bland reality of---self-delusion?

Your personal choice.
I'll choose my way in my time in my space.
My conclusion: Love Life!
In my way in my time in my space!

And---
I have! I do! I will!

In Truth!

It's great to be loved---and...to love!

I pray thee a have "Great" day---
I can guarantee...I will!

Enjoy tonight's Alabaster pale full moon!

Amen!

Goes out of her way to please patrons-library
Epitome of “Pleasant” cast in bronze-statuary
Helpful! Polite! Most courteous and kind

Happy Birthday! Miss Pamela!

A Civil War tune

Jenna’s Tears
(a Civil War tune)

Sits a dog-trot log cabin in yonder green meadow
Her beau went away to win some damn ole war
Jenna’s tears flow in lamented afternoon shadow
Waiting brokenhearted to night wish upon a star

Sovereign states secede in joined Rebel Confederation
Righteous Union boys don the “Blue”, volunteer to fight
Ole Abe gives the civil-uprising Presidential consideration
Fort Sumter volley; bloody Gettysburg; Atlanta-burning site

Jenna’s love allowed a month to defeat the Damn Yankee and win
Disciplined Union Army marched across Dixie scorching the land
Evil begets evil! Young men transgress? Surely the pernicious sin!
Cotton crop trampled; cotton bales burned; plantation slaves banned

No peace! Ever! From those seeking “Peace”-speak motivation
No sooner the first anger-shot than a search for hope-resolution
Leaders lavish meet to discuss terms in frustration-consternation
Polticos blood protected through a business older than prostitution

Sits a dog-trot log cabin in yonder green meadow
Unpainted weathered wood barn leans near-by
Jenna’s tears flow in lamented afternoon shadow
Eyes search the dark heavens for a salvation-reply

Sweet Jenna waits two long years for a letter from her beau
None other will she look at nor endanger her sacred vow
Horror stories visit home as she prays, “He’s alive! I know.”
Jenna waits as promised, saving herself as best she knows how

Finally, a letter! He’s alive! Held in a prison-camp hell-hole
Death! Depravation! Starving! A stench of brimstone hot hell
He tells Jenna to forget him; his spirit is broken; he has lost his soul
He’d forsake it all. Honor ole Davy patching up the Liberty Bell

When their tired ole battles end, as surely they all must
“Wounded” soldiers trudge past, vacant any promised trust
Pure wasted national blood-treasure---ashes to ashes…dust to dust

Sits a dog-trot log cabin in yonder green meadow
Her beau went away to win some damn ole war
Jenna’s tears flow in lamented afternoon shadow
Waiting brokenhearted to night wish upon a star

Rain! Today!---Yea! (Adventure! Awaits)

A Chance---

To dance between the rain drops---Wow!

No complaints! None!

Thank Thee for another chance.

Once, decades ago, we had planned a picnic at a
scenic state park, Meramec Springs, near St. James, MO.
Rain greeted us early and settled in for the day,
so we cancelled the hour and a half trip .Instead,
we invited our guests to our house for an "indoor" picnic.

Wow! What an adventuresome day! Fun! Games! Comradery!

Our dining table served as the picnic gathering place.
Everybody had a GREAT time! One and all!

And, the picnic at the Springs? We did it many other days.
Multiply the pleasure! It' really is all about: Attitude!

Stop trying to micro-manage life; it'll happen. Enjoy!

Amen!

Did you see that?

Pay Attention!

When I was a kid, people said we were too poor to---
Pay Attention!

Well? Maybe so? I never thought about it...actually.
Did not matter much if we really were poor---or...rich.
I was well-fed, -housed, -clothed, -educated (secular and religious).
All-in-all: Satisfied! Happy! Fair!
"Justice and freedom for all!" Amen!

Strong Faith!
Great Family!
Sweet Freedom!

Every day---events leading to awesome...adventure!
All one need do is---Look!

Yes! Even, still, today!

Bored people are boring people.
Combine that with lonesome---and...Boredom!

View the dawn; follow a cloud; appreciate sunrise.
Mow the lawn, manicure it; smell the roses; Live!

Plant flowers---or, a tree...or, ten thousand-plus!
Travel around the neighborhood, state, country, world!
How? One step at a time---each, following the first one!

Have an issue? Want a solution?
Get a mirror; look at the self-image
and see both in a single glance.

It Is your "choice"!
Truth! Is your Redemption-Salvation!

It is: Free! Choose: Life!

Find: Love! Embrace: Love! Live: Love!

Love! IS all that ever really matters;
it is the answer for reality!

Amen!
