A seasoned-“veteran” international jet-setter tourist just to begin

We played a lot of softball! Hiking! Swimming! Horseback riding!

Took many nature walks! Played with pets! Had fun playing hiding!

Talented! Clarinet! Piano! Makes a violin sweet-sing a smiling-song!

We enjoy your exquisite-playing! Could easy listen All-day-long!

 

Took you 40 miles to Buchheit Farm Store one single time!

2^nd trip came in another way; our 3 year-old read the sign!

 

So very Beautiful! Intelligent! Talented! Equestrian! Perfect! Love!

Loves hockey and played varsity high school and college team

Let Z. drive my red Ranger truck when he was a 12-year-old kid

Blackjack-“Gambler” man! Always won big when ’ere he bid

 

Played ball! Hockey! Ice skated! Rode the horses! Vacations!

Everybody loves Z. Tyler-man! Handsome! Loved! Sensation!

 

Another Welcome-“shadow” by my side to follow me around

30-days we traveled Atlantic to Pacific-Wild! adventure-bound

 

Moved to ole Oregon for Law School and exploration-fun

Rode in the Ryder truck with me as my personal shotgun

 

My “whistle” brought our fine boy to come a flying-running

We hit driving range golf balls and honed his natural cunning

 

Now Z. Tyler curries favor when he plays for real in dollar sales

Successful-Great! His acumen to his natural Love-of-Life pales

 

“Z. T.” Our professional business-executive! A lightning-flash!

From the very beginning---Class-act!...All-the-way! 1^st-class!

Like Beth you loved books and we had a bunch

Mom had them memorized; I just wanted “lunch”

 

Evil-Bedtime!?---Oh! dread!...Daddy’s surprise treat!

Beth already asleep! Missed cheese and cool aid sweet!

 

How awful fast you grew-up from blue jeans and bobby socks

Stood tall and straight in value/virtue with curly golden locks

 

As a kid I got my fill of vegetable garden labor work Hot!

“Can we have a garden? Daddy!” For Becky-girl? A spot!

 

Taught you and “Sis” to drive in the fields at 12 years old

Helped Irreverent-me a lot! The experience seemed “Bold!”

 

Nanny got a nice 40^th birthday gift from our special little gang

Rio-red Mustang GT convertible! On your 16^th! Wow! Bang!

She gave that flaming chariot to you! “I can fly!” You sang!

 

And---Sure enough! You did!...104 mph in a 45-zone! Uh! Oh!

Then, waited for the slow cop! A speeding ticket! Oh! No!

 

Sister lawyer Beth offered absolutely no sympathy

She just never got caught so had no “pity”-empathy

 

You always did me Proud! I forever love you more than life!

With Alex gave us Lauren! & Anna Marie! Perfect! Mother! Wife!

A winter warm-day taught “Darling”-Beth to catch bluegill fish

We thunder rode those horsey-cayuse across the emerald turf

Never got the chance to Wild!-gallop them in white ocean surf

 

Subtle-quiet! We were! ’Cept when we stampeded thunder

“White-hats” triumphed the day! Laid “Black-hats” asunder

 

Explored the awesome Rocky Mountains “up and down”

Found “Treasures” myriad like ole Cripple Creek town

 

Sailed the wide Atlantic on a “cork” with crazy Cap’n Eddie!

Got so seasick in the gale we sorely needed a soft “beddie”

 

Hey! I never promised anybody it would always be easy! Just Fun!

We managed clouds and rain and ice and snow---but always…Sun!

 

Ice skated! Suicide sled-rode!? Swam! Played lots of ball!

Worked hard! Farm! Land! House! Yard! Cleaned stalls!

 

We shared “Great” Life! & Love! Space-time adventure cache

Never held a tally-sum silver-gold! Too busy in our Wild dash

 

And---Let’s humor old Poppa!?...surprised he’s not in jail!?

Mom always stood still afraid he might put her “For sale”!

 

Eternal-Love! No bounds! No beginning and no end! Cosmos-Eternal!

The more one dare give the evermore there is Paternal and Maternal!
