Christmas Blessed

Christmas Blessed

Dark night dawn blazed light of day

Newborn babe rough manger lay

Virgin-Mother adore our King

Celestial choir, angelic sing

Miracle to this world wonder

Jesus birth in shelter yonder

God’s true love millennium

Praise and honor, glorify Him

Mist transcend sweet morning dew

Escort clear sky cerulean blue

Beauty blanket snow soft white

Pure, perfect time eternal sight

All that’s good, God’s grace bestow

Gifts, mankind, help spiritually grow

Celebrate life, Father, Son and Spirit

Sweet earth beckon, listen, hear it

Invite holy Christ-child, royal guest

Each cherished life He Christmas Blessed!

Amen!

Merry Christmas!

Merry Christmas!

Idyllic Vision

Embrace idyllic vision ancient desert town there yonder

Innocent revered by humble man, domestic creature wonder

Love true sacred miracle-gift of new-life baby born of holy Mother

Sent His Savior Son to redress yon heaven for every sister-brother

Peer ye down upon sweet face lying in manger’s soft hay

Vacant celebrity fanfare to celebrate humble sacred birthday

Two worshipful millennia eons plus have come and been and gone

Each single year His faithful pray a comfort “Silent Night!”-song

Clarion angel trumpeted to lowly shepherds as their vigil keep

“Noel! Noel!” Soft on still night in respected peaceful deep

Came they in bowed allegiance eager to humbly honor, holy adore

“The King is come upon the earth” as foretold in campfire ancient lore

Heaven hosts sing eternal sweet-voiced proud angelic choir

Seraphim and Cherubim celestially syncopate a hallowed lyre

While there in simple Bethlehem in a modest, rustic, wooden stable

Comes a consecrated spark to conflagrate a saintly Communion table

Long time since, servant Moses received His holy Commandments ten

First three, Love God; seven more, Love man; lest suffer soul-stained sin

Now, born the Child to become a man takes only holy breath

Conquered evil and the world and surely vacant, lonesome death

What sacred several holy words might one condense of His pure Love?

Honor Faith! Love Family! Cherish Freedom! Bestowed treasures from above

Pray! In thy tender heart lives Christ’s Love in everlasting glow

From that font allow to all ye meet holy water abundantly to flow

Give voice to celebrated prayer with “Thy” will be done

Abandon vacant “my” as humbly honor His perfect Son

Choose thee, now, one easy simple imperative decision

Love Father, Son and Holy Ghost; live His “Idyllic Vision”

Faith! Family! Freedom! Might just be all there really is…

In one eternal instant, the only mercy judgment will be---His!

Amen!

Merry Christmas!

Santa & Frosty

Santa Claus and Frosty

In a little country village setting, some decades now past

A boy enjoyed life’s production and so loved the special cast

Prayed he such a splendid fantasy would longer than forever last

Christmas Magic in the air when each year is nearly done

With school and church and family, his days were surely fun

Life for the pure joy of living and his time had only just begun

Money might be scarce, no one would ever mention

Love provided all the little children’s required attention

Lessons taught and virtue learned begot generous ascension

By age of twenty it was Santa Claus he wished to be

Pushed life flat out, head first, foot loose and spirit fancy free

Tried he to emulate that perennial jolly snowman aptly titled “Frosty!”

Found truth in “Better to give than to receive”

Whatever they may desire or need, he would conceive

The world to each, satiate spiritual needs, which he did perceive

A single orange, his father’s Christmas, one bleak year

Thankful and overjoyed, but the telling brought his grandma’s tear

From those saints before, now gone, he learned to Santa Claus and Frosty hear

Praise God in Faith! As His Word so sacred say

Honor Family! Through Love in Santa’s one horse sleigh

Glory to Freedom! Believe Frosty will reappear one fine day

Should, dare I, make the world a better plan

Just love God and extend to lowly man a helping hand

A holy challenge to live like Santa and that Frosty snowman

This United States---Love it or leave it

This precious Life---Live fully and do not deceive it

This sacred challenge---Like Santa and Frosty…venture to believe it

Amen!

Mountain Christmas!

Mountain-Christmas!

(song of a summit-holiday)

Frigid crystal-ice blue-spruce sparkles golden high-sun noon

Midnight-space diamond-stars adorn alabaster-pale full-moon

Woolen-blanket pulled comfort-warm awaiting Christmas-soon

’Tis a-venue tempting-lonely upon a mountain summit-white

To-view an eagle-wild from-above a truly-rare treasure-delight

Campfire stoked-warm by cedar-log mock shooting-fireworks sight

A saddle-pillow to-console me-head spawning fantasy-dream night

A whisper-wind to-caress ice-frozen blue-spruce sways ever-slight

I-smell a-snow to-come afore-the-dawn to-blanket beauty-bright

Faithful-steed dark-grey dapple, Smoke, born on mountain-height

Soft-chomps dried bunch-grass in makeshift lean-to snug and tight

Frigid crystal-ice blue-spruce sparkles golden high-sun noon

Midnight-space diamond-stars adorn alabaster-pale full-moon

Woolen-blanket pulled comfort-warm awaiting Christmas-soon

Never a city-slicker silk suit-type among a people-plethora I-could

A sacred Independent-Individual always at-Peace not-alone I-should

To-kiss-Liberty awake new-dawn to-cherish Freedom-sweet I-would

Frigid crystal-ice blue-spruce sparkles golden high-sun noon

Midnight-space diamond-stars adorn alabaster-pale full-moon

Woolen-blanket pulled comfort-warm awaiting Christmas-soon

Yonder through a mist ice-fog ushering a-blizzard I-see

Ole Santa! Reindeer! Toys-sled! O! Joyous-Christmas be

I’ll feed the-fire to toasty-warm and throw more-hay to Smoke

Boil-coffee strong to wash biscuits-gravy absent company-folk

Ice-ornamented blue-spruce Christmas-tree gleams a sacred-holy glow

My-gift to life-splendid is appreciation-awesome Mother-Nature show

Christmas-Magic anywhere conjures Faith! Family! Freedom!-adulation

Eat! Drink! Be-Merry! Make eternal Love-of-Life be thy always-celebration

Frigid crystal-ice blue-spruce sparkles golden high-sun noon

Midnight-space diamond-stars adorn alabaster-pale full-moon

Woolen-blanket pulled comfort-warm awaiting Christmas-soon

Amen!
