Lonesome Dove!
Yeah! I wish I had written it! Sure. Why not?
Flipping through the myriad channels available last night
I stumbled upon the "Return to Lonesome Dove" movie
which picks up the storyline where the original had ended.
The boys had grown to become men;
the men had aged into---wise men.
Such is the way of life and time through any space.
I enjoy the "old" days with the masked Ranger and his
Indian companion. And, Superman, too.
Truth! Justice! The American-way!
Ah! The hopeless romantic? The impossible dreamer?
Transgression-confession! Amen! To that: Truth!
Yeah! I know! Fiction!? (don't remind me)
Of course, I know the fact-of-the-matter.
Still, I will not admit it; I do lament it!
People showed up; many, acquaintances;
some became friends, others---more...forever.
Whether they realized it---or...not. I know!
Glad, was I, to see the old Hat Creek Outfit again.
Reminisce---a bit. Recollect---some. Remember...a lot.
They live, all of them, at least, in this sacred memory;
within this loving heart; in my Freedom!

For a shared-Love through time---for space...in my forever.
For a midnight-black alabaster pale full moon.
For Sunrise. High-noon. Sunset. Purple-evening cool.
For each event. Exquisite adventure. Sacred devotion. Emotion.
Life! Love! Laughter!
Faith! Family! Freedom!
One day?! Somewhere? Yonder! (Heaven?) Perhaps.
(If---I "luck" into a...Transfer?!)
Return---to..."Sometime"! Hmm?!
