Such a quiet month as summer winds down

With hellish heat intensified by relentless humidity

A delightful thunderstorm to cool it now and then

The reality school starts causes many a child to frown

 

Some sky-blue days sport fluffy white clouds

Promise near September offering crisp fresh autumn

Awful temperature highs into the upper nineties they reach

Shortened days, perhaps, yet hotter still makes August proud

 

To survive one year, I at long last traveled west

Across swift rivers, wide plains and so on

To the distant horizon just to see what is next

Over hill, down valley to the majestic Rocky Mountain crest

 

Grandeur reached for heaven still not enough for me

Across the Great Salt Lake on up Idaho-way

To the Great Northwest via the old Oregon Trail

What spectacular wonders these naïve eyes did see

 

So many places ’round this old world I’ve been

Over the ocean to see my ancestral beginnings

In Dallas-town and down old Mexico-way

To the Oregon-coast resplendent, almost a sin

 

August here not like the Midwest weather-horrific

So beautiful as to tempt my love away from my heart

If God lived on earth this He would call home

From coastal mountains I view the grand blue Pacific

than a fair share and hordes only to seal dead bankrupt.

a worship-future which forever fosters holy-sacred Faith!

A blanket-thick plethora of yellow blooms stirring-bend

Soars me spirit in Honor-wonder Mother-Nature friend

 

Often I visit such a tranquil venue for respite peace-of-mind to contemplate life. In my reverie I ride Thunder-unicorn for transport to a destination calling my soul. Full-well I am sorely aware that a septuagenarian ought to know better than to tempt such outrageous incantation as child-innocent Fantasy for fear of some “old”-person dementia inclusion but---old habits…are hard to change. Reckon-so sure-enough this ole boy has lived in a comfort-world far different from the norm. I believe (and practice) a reverence of Truth! Justice! & The American-way! Constructed on a foundation of holy/sacred Faith! Family & Freedom! Might but simple be a self-determined mantra (catchy) but such devotion leads to a code-of-ethics to which strict adherence is demanded. Never would (simple-humble) I call such discipline on any other though I must absolutely demand a passion to the structure of myself. I expect nothing of the society/culture within the collective---and…I am seldom disappointed with the results. That is---their problem…not mine!

 

High above yon Pacific-blue a gale-torn sentinel-escarpment

Here to another spirit-respite cherished Freedom-deportment

No worthy philosophical-vagabond confined to a compartment

 

’Tis a Grand and Awesome-wonder empirical discerning Love absent any evil condition, rather simply for the devotion-emotion of self-realization and ultimate satisfaction just in the doing! Yonder there! High above the chaos-waves below suffering an onslaught-wind determined to foment a fury storm attacking in force the headland interrupting a usually placid sea that one of nature-understandg and part might even begin to appreciate a nuanced-venue beyond a relevant!

 

First pink-blush hint-of-dawn through frosted-filigree window-glass

Awaken me! Sweet-call to new-day accept yet another challenge-sass

Toil until mid-morn to rest in oak-shade allowing labor-stress to pass

 

To hard-exercise the body results a fine physique-display and a satiated mental-state but such chance to work intricate mysterious-mind beyond any easy obvious suggests a trace divine leading to an inspiration-creative and in that intrepid dare skirting tangential “accepted”-truth, Perhaps!? Even an epiphany relative to life as practiced adding enthusiasm for Love-found!

 

Arab-Proud! Grey with dapple-black! A-King! The equine Could!

No “master”/serf! Rather, a natural-team ad venture-bound! Would!

He be there nd I am here---and so…’tis mutual-Love! We Should!

 

Myriad “long”-days, sometimes, but years grow short by style. I have cut firewood logs for winter-warmth and vowed plant 10 for each dead log I took. But---Pray I!  Did much better than my initial promise…planted 12k- trees…thus far! Thank you! Mother Nature friend! Respect!

He managed to find his "calling" and turn it to Love!

I write "words"!---30+ books!...8+ years of daily blog-posts!

The craftsman offers his emotion/passion for its beauty! Works good!

My writing is to inform and educate bringing contemplation! Hmm!

Because the congregation prayed diligently while the single demon down at the bar sat bored with nothing to do as the patrons obligingly and willingly embraced evil “sin” by virtue of precipitating in the vile culture and faux-society of the venue.

Candy took  photos of her Grandfather's pocket-watch 

along with several family rings and other jewelry. Interesting!

Most emotionally satisfying to sit with her and review her 

ancestor's "valuables" listening to the stories and sharing 

her memories of the people and events associated with the items.

Nice!---Very-nice!...I can feel and appreciate the Love!

Class!---You can't demand it! Buy it! Fake it! Or lie it!...

Class is very much like God-given talent---You got it...or not!

The nun began the class with a troubling-story. Seems myriad-

demons are running all over church trying to cause issues with 

the people of the congregation to "sin" while just down the street 

is a bar and the one demon in there is doing absolutely nothing! It 

doesn't have to cause trouble in a "bad" place; the patrons don't need 

any help to "sin"; in church, "Good"-intent prevails over any and all evil!

Jesus said, "I will send you who and what you need when you need it."
